Notes from the taper:
The show was fucking ridiculously awesome. They closed the main house and had the bands (Cop Shoot Cop opened) set up facing the backstage area, and everyone filed in from the alley door into the backstage. There were no risers or anything, The Lizard was right on the floor with the rest of us (though I was on a chair in the back) and there were numerous problems with the crowd going batshit and gear getting fucked with and cutting out, as you will hear at the beginning of Nub. Yow was in top form and was busting out with the funniest fucking banter I've ever heard from him. There was a beleaguered "stage manager" who kept frantically exhorting the crowd to "relax" and "calm down" and Yow didn't really, um, help him...at all. One of those shows where the fire marshall had swung by and threatened to shut it down. Fun fun.

The sound is surprisingly excellent, especially given that stock mic I was using. Some crowd noise in-between songs. If you were the dude who was there and kept yelling "take off your pants", you don't know how much I wanted to kick you in the head you loudmouthed little shit. But that's just me. Hope ya like it. In the words of Mr. Yow: "peace brothers and sisters, suck my ass."
